Second painting after the original Roots painting. This was the story behind the first painting:

There are so many layers in this painting as I never really got happy with the way it turned out, which led me to painting the whole canvas white and then I left it like that for weeks. One day, when I got home from seeing my psychologist, I felt ready to start over and just started to paint different shapes of this beautiful blue color over the whites.

Even though it ended up with a quite new, beautiful style after starting on blank sheets, this piece still has traces of all the different phases it has gone through with all its structure.

The story and deeper meaning is still a part of the new paintings, and I've made sure there's a lot of structure behind the minimalist pattern.
